We at Northwest Premium Meats would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and trusting us with the processing of your animals. Our staff here at the plant and our owners want you to know we care about you and your livelihood and are taking all appropriate precautions to ensure we can continue essential operations during the COVID-19 CoronaVirus epidemic. Among other things, we have increased the sanitization of high traffic areas, such as our office, provided our staff with face masks to wear during processing operations and are actively monitoring our staff for any signs of illness.
These are unprecedented times we are facing as a country, a community, an industry and a small business. We ask you to help us keep our staff healthy and facility operational by:
Not entering our facility if you or anyone in your family has a confirmed case or symptoms of COVID-19
Informing us if you or anyone in your family has a confirmed case or symptoms of COVID-19 after you have been to our facility
Maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet while in our facility
Wearing a facemask and protective clothing if you must enter our processing facility
Sanitizing your hands before entering our processing facility
Limiting your interactions with our processing staff
Additionally we want to inform you that, in the unlikely event we must close our facility for an extended period of time, Northwest Premium Meats, LLC. may not be held liable for any product loss resulting from extended hang time in our coolers. While we hope that this does not happen, every day brings new challenges for us and in the case of a shutdown we will be required to follow USDA, FDA and CDC Federal guidance. We may also be limited in our ability to produce value-added products such as sausage, patties and smoked products due to staff limitations or shipping delays.
